Product Activation

Product Activation is a method of software security that assists us in preventing the unauthorised copying and proliferation of the Lucid software. In this way we hope to ensure that prices are maintained at an acceptable level and all users contribute to the ongoing development of the Lucid family of products.

At this stage activation is restricted to the Lucid3 product however over time this requirement will be implemented across the entire range of software products developed by the Lucid team.

Activation works by requiring users to obtain and copy to their local machine an activation file. This enables the product to be installed and used on that machine. Without activating your product key features of the software are not available and limitations on key size are imposed. Once installed and activated the software cannot be used on another machine without first contacting us to obtain a new activation file.
