The Lucid Score Reporter is a utility application to be used in conjunction with the Lucid Professional suite of products.
The Score Reporter transforms score data stored in Lucid XML files into a variety of reports. The report types available are:
CSV (comma separated file)
This file can be read by Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. If you have Excel installed on your computer, when you double click on your newly generated file, it will open as a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel.
Matrix format for Internet Explorer 5 and above
This file will only display properly in IE5 as it uses a number of proprietary Microsoft HTML tags. This report displays your score data as a spreadsheet with the character state names written vertically like in your Lucid Builder spreadsheet view. If you view this file in another browser, the matrix will still display but your column headers will be written horizontally instead of vertically.
Tabular form in a single file
This report displays your score data in a tabulated form, and can easily be printed out from your browser. All the scored taxa are displayed in this file, with each taxon in its own table. Only those character states that have been scored will display.
Tabular form
The same format as above but this time the information is displayed in HTML frames, with the list of taxa in an index in the left hand frame, and its information displayed in the main frame to the right. This radio button option generates many HTML files. One for the main frameset, one for your index of taxa, and a HTML file for each taxon in your key. You will need to package all of these if you wish to distribute this report.
The reporter allows you to display the tick images you are familiar with in the Lucid Builder. If you choose the Display Ticks option, the report generator will make a directory called "images" in your chosen directory and place copies of these tick images there for you.
You can also display words that represent your scores. For more information on how to edit these values please see the section How to edit score descriptions within the Lucid Score Reporter help section.
The Lucid Score Reporter can be downloaded for free once you have logged in and registered your Lucid Product.
