This Builder add-in tool is used to convert RTF files from previous version keys to HTML. While the Lucid Builder v2.0 already does this when importing LIF files from Builder 1.x, the results are often imperfect. For example, if your RTF file contained a "-" e.g. 60-70, once converted this would become 6070.
Microsoft Word allows the export of RTF to HTML, but this conversion added a great deal of unwanted HTML tags making the resulting HTML near impossible to edit at a later date via another HTML editor. (This is just the author's opinion.) There must have been an outcry over this as Microsoft has released an Office HTML filter which can remove most of these unwanted tags. This RTF2HTML add-in tool automates Word and the Office HTML filter to convert your old key's RTF files to HTML in your new key's html directory.
The converter needs Microsoft Word 2000 and Microsoft Office HTML Filter v2.0. The Microsoft Office HTML Filter (this is not shipped as part of the RTF2HTML Converter package) can be download from Microsoft at:

The RTF2HTML Converter can be downloaded for free once you have logged in and registered your Lucid product. Please read the RTF2HTML Converter license before downloading the software.
