Our plans
During 2004/2005, the Lucid team will continue to develop the Lucid family of products, together with a range of initiatives designed to improve the accessibility and useability of taxonomic data.
Lucid3
Following the release of Lucid3 Build 1 in May 2004, we will be working to release Lucid3 build 2 and build 3 later in 2004 and early 2005. For those who purchase Lucid3 Build 1 will be able to obtain Build 2 as a free update.
Lucid3 build 2 will have a number of new features, including a conversion tool that will enable those who have developed keys in Lucid Professional V2.x to painlessly convert their keys to Lucid3.
Lucid Phoenix
The Lucid team will be continuing development of the Lucid Phoenix software. We expect version 2 to be available in early 2005.
We have also commenced a number of early stage research projects that we hope will result in additional functionality being available to Lucid Phoenix users in the near future.
